Introducing our Team:
Junichi (Jay) Kikuchi
President
Jay Kikuchi has a long and impressive history in the automotive and construction machinary business both in the U.S. and abroad. As one of the original sponsors and developers of Promax Automotive, Jay’s support and guidance have been instrumental to the success of the company. His direction for all Promax associates is to “contribute value to our customers and society” as we work together. Jay outlines his four-point customer philosophy for success as follows: • Give value to the customer • Work closely with the customer for planning and design • Do “whatever it takes” to help the customer succeed • Create solutions that will make the customer stronger A graduate of Waseda University, Jay has been a long-time employee of Promax parent ITOCHU Corporation during which he has succeeded in multiple leadership roles including the management of vehicle sales, import/export and distribution, international logistics and procurement.
Rich Doran
Senior Vice President
With over 25 years of experience in distribution and logistics, Rich Doran has the skill and experience to assist our global customers with key kaizen initiatives to reduce cost and increase efficiency throughout the supply chain. Rich spent twenty years with one of the largest automotive manufacturers in the world, working in the disciplines of distribution, logistics, supply chain management and material handling systems. He has been personally responsible for the construction and up-fitting of over two million square feet of high volume distribution space, including an award-winning 833,000 ft² high bay, automated distribution center with an integrated cross dock system.
Rich is an automotive specialist working with OE manufacturers and tier suppliers as well as non-automotive clients. “In today’s economy, companies must focus on the integration of processes including the inbound supply chain, the outbound distribution system and product packaging. These processes are often overlooked in favor of more glamorous components of the business, but are vital to the health of any manufacturing enterprise.”
Gayle Ann Bishop
Vice President /Treasurer
Chief Administrative Officer Gayle Ann Bishop has over 39 years of diversified experience in the accounting field coupled with 32 years of Human Resources experience. Ann oversees the corporate's administrative functions in the HR, Accounting, Corporate Planning, IT, and Legal departments with the goal of meeting all of our customer's financial requirements and reporting needs.
Thom Coleman
Operations Manager Packaging Department

With 26 years in Operations Management experience Thom
Coleman's experience includes Contract Packaging, Sales, Distribution,
Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Plant Management, Import/Export Operations,
P&L Management, 4 Start-up Operations, and Business Development. Savings
and improvement programs in logistics and packaging provided Thom with
an in-depth understanding of Purchasing and Inventory Control.

With 33 years in Operations Management Don Ortiz’s experience includes, Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing process and principles, Team Building, People Development, Supply Chain Management, Plant Management, ISO Planning and Implementation, Distribution Facility Start-ups, Kaizen, 5S and Business Development. |
